Con el próximo eclipse solar el lunes y la oscuridad máxima a las 3:20, se cancelarán todas las actividades después de la escuela. Los estudiantes tendrán un día escolar regular y recibirán un par de gafas de sol eclipse, cortesía de CMC Education Foundation. Good afternoon CMCES, we hope everyone is enjoying their spring break! With the upcoming solar eclipse on Monday and peak darkness being at 3:20 all afterschool activities will be canceled. Students will have a regular school day and be provided with a pair of eclipse sunglasses courtesy of the CMC Education Foundation. Safety procedures can be found on NASA's website. We will keep you updated on any changes. Again we hope you are enjoying Spring Break!

The winner for the 3rd-4th grade Science Fair: 4th grader Sloane Conwell! She completed her project on whether flowers would grow better in soil or in stone. The winner for the 5th-6th grade Science Fair: 5th grader Kenly Goines! She completed her project on whether her cat likes fish or chicken. Everyone presenting last night provided amazing research for all to view. We are so proud of each of the participants!
Last week, the PTC & CMCE hosted the March Mingle Family Carnival! We are so thankful for all the hard work the PTC put into this event. Thank you to local Cape May businesses for donating baskets for the silent auction and to CMCE staff & parents for volunteering.
