Cape May City Elementary School worked closely with Cape May City Public Works to design and build our FIRST PLACE float in the West Cape May Christmas Parade on December 3rd!
CMCES cannot thank CMC Public Works enough for all their hard work and craftsmanship on our beautiful float!

It is with great pleasure we announce that Mrs. Patti Marten is our Cape May City Elementary Teacher of Year!
Besides being our school's Testing Coordinator, Basic Skills Teacher, and Gifted and Talented Teacher, she is actively involved in family activities here at CMCES. She is a constant professional and team player, which allows us as a school to run smoothly.
Let's all wish her the best of luck as she moves on to try to be the Cape May County Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations Mrs. Marten!

CMCES students are sending warm wishes and holiday cards. Thank you for your service!

On Saturday, our student council volunteered at a food pantry. Together, we helped 46 families! Thank you to Miss Mac and Mr. Fitzpatrick who helped out and all the parents who drove their kids on a chilly day! So proud of everyone!

Our student council members got to meet and talk with the executive director of CARA, Claire Galiano, along with two outreach workers Corinne and Kristin. They were so excited to receive all the toiletries we collected during Violence Prevention Week and said we are the FIRST elementary school to do so! Great job to our CMCE community! And thank you!

We were fortunate enough to have a visit from the @WetlandsInstitute yesterday. We were able to interact with some pretty neat sea creatures !!!
